At Carlson Search Group, Dean Hoppe primarily works with clients in ensuring and accelerating the successful assimilation of recently hired executives into the organization. Through a variety of proven and practical coaching tools and processes, Dean helps executives effectively navigate the challenges that they typically encounter in their first months with their new employer. Dean will also provide support to other search efforts, especially within the insurance industry.
Dean has had a distinguished career in senior-level human resources roles with Wells Fargo (fka Norwest Corporation) and ING (fka ReliaStar). Most recently he has served in a talent management role at ING which involved succession planning, coaching senior executives, leadership assessment and overseeing the performance management systems for the US operations of the organization. Throughout his career Dean has had a real passion for facilitating the development of leaders, helping executives assess and build their bench strength and designing and implementing systems that help organizations maximize the performance of their talent.
He earned at B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
