New Financial Services Executive Search Group Launched
DES MOINES – (March 14, 2006) – Gregg Carlson has announced the formation of the Carlson Search Group, an executive search firm that focuses on mid- to senior-level retained searches for financial services companies
The search group, with offices in Des Moines and Minneapolis, has completed searches throughout the country. Carlson has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry as both an executive search consultant and human resources executive. Most recently, he had been a partner with Schall, Lyman & Carlson, a search group headquartered in Minneapolis.
The formation of the Carlson Search Group is directly related to my own career path,” Carlson said. “For the past 14 years, although I have been part of a generalist firm, I have worked primarily with financial services clients. I realized that there was a real niche to be filled by a team of industry experts that is dedicated to really learning about our client companies, the specific opportunity and the potential candidates, all while specializing in the financial services field.”
In addition to Carlson, Cindy Johnson, a former executive with Amerprise Financial in Minneapolis, and Dean Hoppe, a former executive with ING and Wells Fargo, also in Minneapolis, have joined CSG. Johnson will take a key role in all Twin Cities-based searches, as well as focus on insurance and investment industry efforts across the country.
Hoppe will primarily focus on executive assimilation, a value-added service CSG will offer clients coaching support to help ensure that the new executive gets off to a successful start
